Cleanup identifies opportunities for you to reclaim SOL from various Solana processes, such as reducing storage, closing unused accounts, and so on. The operations on this tab are safe to perform and will never burn / destroy your NFTs or tokens.
Cleanup is 100% safe to use. It does not burn any items. Closing token accounts is a reversible operation, and resizing NFTs is sanctioned by Metaplex.
When purchasing tokens, NFTs, or other assets, you need to create an account for the item to live in. Once this NFT or token has been sold, transferred, and so on, this storage is left unused, and can be reclaimed. This does not burn any of your assets, and is a reversible process. It will not invalidate any airdrops.
If you see a NFT or token in the transaction preview, that is known to happen at times. Do not worry, this happens for a few reasons but is harmless. You can proceed with the cleanup process.
You will reclaim 0.002 GOR for each vacant token account closed. The amount reclaimed from resizing NFTs varies depending on the specific NFT type, but is usually around 0.00185 - 0.0025.
